Kauffman, C. Roscoe; . .

Kauffman, C. Roscoe, 82, formerly of Thompsontown died December 6, 1995 at Brookline Manor Convalescent Home, Mifflintown, PA. Born in Walker Twp., Juanita Co., PA, January 31, 1913, to Martin and Bertha Kauffman.

His wife, the former Bernice R. Brubaker, whom he married February 23, 1938 survives. He is also survived by a son, Wayne Kauffman, Mt. Pleasant Mills; three daughters, June Heller, Millersville, Shirley Helmuth, Lebanon, and Doris Dressler, Thompsontown; two brothers, Martin L. Kauffman and Homer Kauffman, both of McAlisterville; four sisters, Charlotte VanOrmer, McAlisterville, Pauline Hart, Brookline Manor Convalescent Home, Mifflintown, Isabel Mohlmann, New Port Richey, FL and Ruth Keiser, Ogden, UT; seven grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

He was a member of Delaware Mennonite Church, Thompsontown, where he taught Sunday School and was a trustee for 23 years.

The funeral service was held Saturday, December 9, 1995 at Lost Creek Mennonite Church, Mifflintown with Pastors David Weaver and Raymond Lauver officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, McAlisterville, PA
